The aim of this event is clear: to explore how sustainable finance can promote the conservation and restoration of biodiversity.
On 17 October 2023, at 5pm, at the Académie du Climat, 2DII is organising a conference where finance meets the future of our planet.

🟢 Speech by Matthieu DELABIE from the French office of biodiversity
🟢 Presentation of the Convention on Biological Diversity by Camille Maclet
💬 First round table moderated by David Cooke (2DII) on the subject “What are the limits of the leverage effect on private investment in biodiversity? Are other incentive mechanisms necessary / effective? With Guillaume Wahl (WWF-France), Lucie Pecqueur ((Institut de la finance durable), Jean-Benoit Gambet (Moonshot ) and Diane Roissard (La Banque Postale Asset Management).
🟢 Speech by Gabriela Hermosilla from the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).
💬 Second round table moderated by Samia Baadj on “The biodiversity data landscape – from transparency to real action” with Chloe Abdessater (Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) – France), Melissa Evelyne PEREZ (Carbon4 Finance), Clément BLADIER, (NEC – Net Environmental Contribution), Enrica Bruna (CGDD – Commissariat général au développement durable) and Miriam van Gool (Science Based Targets Network).
