17 December 2021

On Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 December 2021, the annual “Green Finance Research Advances” conference was held, co-organised by the Louis Bachelier Institute and the Banque de France with the support of the Institut de l’Economie pour le Climat, Finance For Tomorrow and AGEFI. This conference aims to present the latest work and advances in sustainable finance research.

The ADEME teams, participating in the Finance ClimAct project, took part in the session “Modelling the macroeconomics of climate transition” alongside teams from the Banque de France, the International Research Centre for Environment and Development (CIRED) and the European Economic Society (Seureco). This session was an opportunity to present the modelling of several macroeconomic transition scenarios, based on the analytical framework developed by the NGFS (Network of Central Banks and Supervisors for the Greening of the Financial System), and then to discuss the comparison of the results and the key elements of these scenarios during a round table discussion.
